A yearning for extinction?
I think it’s because Viagra has a higher success rate than birth control pills. Viagra also has less severe consequences. The worst thing Viagra can do is give the guy an erect johnny for a longer period of time. But a mistake with birth control pills, you’re pregnant. I could be wrong though
Edit: To the person above, you’re wrong, Viagra does not cause heart attacks, if anything it prevents it, because it dilates blood vessels to increase blood flow.
This is a fun question and I hope that considering my history of asking serious and philosophical questions yahoo Answers will not delete it under community guidelines. I have thought of quite a few consequences like at least for one day all the married women would be happy !
I am not talking about one tablet of Viagra but sufficient quantity for all adult males in your city !
Ryan’s answer is the funniest.
If you want a serious answer, I’d say there’d be some downsides: First of all, some people would have very bad health reactions, and those with heart disease might even die.
Secondly, there would be more sex crimes.
My friend tried to prank me on the weekend and i need to one up him and get him back
That’s ridiculously irresponsible. Mixing drugs is not a “funny” prank. I will commend you on at least thinking about the consequences before you act, but asking the question in the “alt med” section of Yahoo Answers is not a good place to base your actions on. You have no way to check the credibility of the people responding. I could give you an answer, but I’d be hypocrite if I did. So rather than listen to some random person on the web, ask a medical doctor or pharmacist. Without knowing anything about the person you are “pranking” it is impossible to say for certain what the outcome would be. If I tell you that the person won’t die, I could be wrong. What if the kid has Crohn’s disease, or cirrhosis of the liver? By the way, take Viagra out of your bag of tricks. It won’t give him an involuntary erection. He will still have to be sexually aroused to see the effects.
And does it improve your sexual desire?
Chronic heart disease.
And no, viagra does nothing to your desire, it opens up the blood-flow, nothing more, so even the stories how it gives you an erection is a lie, you have to do the work, viagra, just makes it possible, if you have damaged blood-flow.
If you take viagra and have an erection lasting more than four hours what are the consequences? and what do the doctors in the ER do?
The earlier the treatment begins, the more effective it is. If the erection lasts for only two to three hours, some decongestant medications, such as pseudoephedrine may do the trick.
The first treatment for erection lasting>4 hrs(it’s a medical emergency) is “therapeutic aspiration.” The urologist sticks a needle into the side of the penis and draws blood directly from the cavernosa. The same needle is sometimes used to inject saline solution into the penis, which can help flush out the remaining blood. Aspiration and irrigation work around 25 percent to 30 percent of the time. Doctors can also inject drugs that constrict the arteries and cut off penile blood flow. Injections are given every few minutes for about an hour.
If treatment described above proves ineffective, surgery is usually required. A surgeon usually creates an artificial draining route (which is called a shunt) between veins of the penis and other veins, so that the blood can leave the penis faster. That is known as a shunting procedure.
Even if treatment is timely and effective, there is a probability of temporary erectile dysfunction. This temporary impotence might last for some time after the treatment, but will gradually disappear and the sexual function should return back to normal.
